Returns & Refunds Policy – Woodeedoo

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Woodeedoo, and we aim to make returns as straightforward as possible.
This policy explains how to return an item, when you are entitled to a refund or replacement, and which products are excluded from return.
1. Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind about your purchase, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your item for a full refund.
This extended period goes beyond the standard 14 days required by UK consumer law.
To qualify for a return:

The item must be unused and in its original condition.

It must include all original packaging, fittings, and accessories.

The item must not have been customised, stained, varnished, or otherwise personalised.
To arrange a return, please contact us first at contact@woodeedoo.com and include your order number.
We’ll confirm the return procedure and provide the correct return address.
Unless the product is faulty, the cost of return postage is your responsibility.
If you ask us to arrange collection, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
If goods have been used or show signs of wear, we reserve the right to make a deduction for any loss of value.
Refunds will normally be processed within 7 working days of receiving the returned goods.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or not as described, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
Include photographs showing the issue to help us process your case quickly.
Depending on the situation, we will:

replace the item,

repair the item, or

issue a refund.
All refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving the returned goods.
We recommend inspecting your order upon delivery and reporting any issues promptly.
3. Customised, Stained or Varnished Products
Items that have been stained, varnished, painted, engraved, or otherwise customised to your specification are non-returnable under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless faulty.
Once work has started on a customised item, your right to cancel no longer applies.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are defective or not as described.
4. Gift Wrapping and Supplementary Services
Gift wrapping and greeting card services are considered supplementary.
If your order is cancelled after these services have been completed, the cost of the wrapping or card may be deducted from your refund.
5. Refund Processing & Returns Method
Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 7 working days of the returned goods being received and inspected.
You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit during return.

We recommend using a tracked or insured delivery service.

Returned items remain your responsibility until received by us.
6. Purchases via Third-Party Marketplaces
If you purchased a Woodeedoo product through a third-party marketplace (such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or B&Q Marketplace), your return must be handled through that platform’s return system in accordance with their policies.
